Sharing is Caring?

From one lifestyle blogger to another I have a question for you. Is sharing really caring? Is using anothers work and changing it around okay? Being a blogger in the 21st century I get the sense that not much can be original, unless it is some crazy life story that not others have experienced. I always see people posting about viral topics. Fidget spinners, Rhianas new makeup and how they took a cleanse from social media. Even twitter has a "trending" section that highlights what large groups of people are discussing. Talking about what everyone else is doing is what seems to be "in". The lifestyle blogging community seems to be more accepting of "sharing" ideas than other communities. we all know in the political community you will be ripped apart if you steal even a phrase of another work. I like to think of the blogging community as working together, constantly bouncing ideas off of one another. We each can add something new when expanding on an idea and make that idea that much greater. A lot of lifestyle blogs will do monthly favorites, where they assemble all of their favorite products from the month into a list with pictures and explain why they like each of them. Other times bloggers will remix a challenge going around such as the "boyfriend does my makeup tag" some may do "ex-boyfriend does my makeup. In the world of blogging bouncing off each others ideas seems to my okay, just don't take it too far and remember that sharing can be caring. If you think the person you took your ideas from would be mad, then don't take them.
